Over the past couple weeks Sephora and I have became fast friends. It’s my go to place now for all my makeup essentials. It’s just something about walking into the store and having a “professional” all the questions that my research couldn’t answer.
In my recent adventure in Sephora I found this Sephora Green Tea Eye Mask for those of you that have been around for a while, you know that dark spots and especially dark circles are my problems that I want to get rid of or diminish so bad. I’ve heard that green tea can help with dark circles under your eyes — I’ve never taken the time to save my green tea bags and use them so I thought this was a great thing for me to try out on my next day of pampering myself. Plus, these bad boys are only $5.00. I did like the fact that I could throw these in my bag if I was heading to my parents or out of town. I really like the mask because you just slap it on and go about your business for the next 15 minutes. There is a lot of serum on the mask so if any excess is on your face after you remove the mask pads you just rub it in. Nothing to complicated. I know I’ll be purchasing this one and a few others in the near future. On that same trip I purchases the Blendercleanser Solid – beauty blenders are a staple in my everyday makeup application, but cleaning them are the worst. I’ve tried a few of the at home tips that I’ve seen on pinterest, but they didn’t work so I eventually just trashed them and purchased more. I stumbled across Youtube review of the cleanser and knew I had to have it. It is like a bar of soap for your brushes and your sponges. I like the fact that you just rub the bar on your sponge for a few seconds and it’s enough product to clean all the makeup and dirt out of the sponges. The added bonus is that you can also use it to clean your brushes as well. Every blog or instagram page I look is talking about correcting and concealing and for me this has been my life for the past two years – trying to cover up these ugly dark circles. I have a couple products that I was already using and it never hurts to try something new so I decided to get the Cover FX Correct Click in the color Brick. I got it in the color brick because dark skin tones are suppose to use red corrects to neutralize the dark spots. This was interesting because it was small enough to get right under my eye for those stubborn dark circles. It’s not cakey at all, it is smooth and creamy and blends perfectly. I’m not sure if it is designed to give moisture but for me it does give my under eye that added moisture.
If you find the little bit of information I provided on these products, make sure you head over to Sephora and try it out for yourself. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
