Tre Chic

Main Street + OOTD

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting with a new photography [ Brittany Williams Photography ] that is really a sweet heart and great at what she does. I wanted to share a few shots from the shoot and give you details on one of my favorite outfits.

Main Street, Columbia has grown a lot over the years and it is continuously growing. Sunday I enjoyed brunch at Main Street Public House for the first time and I must say we really enjoyed ourselves – the atmosphere was perfect, the food and the mimosas. Next, time I’ll have to go for Dinner! Another great restaurant on Main Street is Cantina 76 – we’ve worn it out! Really good taco’s and drinks at a great price.

If you read my about me section then you know I’m all about some comfort. Everything about this outfit is reasonably priced, comfortable and versatile.

Last Winter I had been searching all over for an olive trench. I couldn’t find one in store or online that satisfied my need and one that didn’t break my pocket. On a random shopping trip to Target I found this gem – it was a no brainier that it was mine. It’s very light weight and can be worn over a dress, with jeans or slacks for the office.

I do a lot of online shopping and browsing. One night I was browsing Forever 21 and I saw this silk off white blouse. It reminded me of one that I had years ago from Old Navy. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size on the size so I requested to be notified when it came in. Leaving work a couple days later I got notification that I was available. It’s very comfy, but its really sheer and you have to wear a shirt under it or you’ll show all of the goodies. (The one I have is discontinued but I’ve linked one similar)

The Loft is about the only place that I shop for jeans – at least for the past 3 years they have been my go to place (I’m open to suggestions of where else to look). The first night I wore these I was actually surprised at how comfortable and how much stretch they have in them. You may not be able to see but the frayed hem  is what sold me on them – just a little distressed.

I got a lot of compliments on Facebook when I posted one of the photo’s of the shoes. I have these in nude also. I wore them for my birthday and they were super comfortable, so when I was buying stuff for vacation it was obvious that I needed to find them in black. Steve Madden has a pair, Express and Target – either one I highly recommend.

This purse was purchased on H&M. It is really soft, but it doesn’t hold it’s form to well. When I carry it people always compliment it. It’s great for business. I can fit my laptop and my notebook in here and it not be too heavy on my arm. It came with a strap but I wasn’t a fan of it.  (The one I have is discontinued but I’ve linked one similar)

Hope you guys enjoyed the photos, the restaurant suggestions and the outfit details.
