Happy New Year!!! Still hard to believe that 2018 is here!
2017 was a roller coaster of emotions for me, but it was also a time for learning about me as a person. The highs were that I was growing spiritually, I was learning what makes me happy, Forevershauni is doing great, I’ve reached a global audience I never thought I would have and my material is just as good as any other blogger. On the low end – ending relationships and loosing a valued member of my family.
For 2018 I decided not to let one little distraction take me away from reaching my goals. I didn’t physically write down any goals last year or even do a vision board – it was just things each month I knew I wanted to achieve and I set myself up to achieve those goals each month.
Continue reading to find out what my goals are for 2018.
The ultimate goal for each year is to grow mentally, spiritually, financially and physically, so that at the end of the year I can be proud of myself. Let’s not get it confused I’m proud of myself regardless if I hit every goal, but in the fact that I am trying.
Mentally – I want to change my way of thinking and increase the positivity that I have in my life. This will be reading more and surrounding myself with like minded people that have goals they want to achieve.
Read…read….read is also going to be a major part of 2018 for me. I want to read books ranging from HR to Entrepreneurial motivation all the way down to autobiographies.
Spiritually – This is the same as it was last year because this a continuous goal for me. I want to expand on doing my devotionals and start doing more in depth research on things that I don’t understand so that I can better apply it to my life.
Practicing gratitude because every day is a gift and should not be taken for granted. I want to focus on all the good that is happening around me and within me. Lord knows that I have more than enough to be thankful and grateful for – the things I don’t have are because it is not time for me to have it yet – God’s timing.
Financially – Learn more about investing and the stock as well as increasing my savings. I want to be able to set myself up to purchase a house in 2019, but still be able to maintain an enjoyable lifestyle. My step dad was really big into investing and the stock – he told me a few things and had a couple books that I read so now I want to invest money that’s just sitting ideal – I want to be making money when I’m asleep (boss moves)!
Physically – 2017 I killed the losing weight deal, but I did it from stress. The weight stayed off, but now I need to reach the other part of my goal of creating a workout routine and a healthy eating plan.
I’m praying and hoping for a prosperous, productive and purposeful new year for everyone.
