In case you heard yet, the sale for VIB Rouge members extends from today (April 13th) until Monday, April 16th AND then again from Friday, April 20th until Monday, April 23rd. PLUS you can bring a friend in store on Friday 4/13 and you both get 15% (early access) everything. If you don’t bring a friend and someone is the store isn’t a Rouge member it would be nice to offer them the 15% – I’m sure they will appreciate it.
So it’s not like I need anything else from Sephora, but I mean you can never have enough. Today I’m talking about some favorites that some may want to pick up and also some new-ness that I want to try.
OLDIES, but GOODIES
The first thing that I’ll be stocking up on are my favorite favorites and essentials – Smashbox Studio Fix 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. During the warmer Spring and hot Summer days I typically can get away with wearing just the concealer and a little powder. Another favorite is the NARS Velve Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita, it great to line your lip, plus it’s great to keep in your purse and throw on at the last minute. I also need to stock up on Beauty Blenders – you can never have too many beauty blenders. During the last sale I purchased the Sol De Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, it did nothing for me, but it smells really good and it also has a small amount of glitter in it – just enough to where you are glowing in the sun hits you the right way, so for that alone I’ll get it again. To find out all the details on these products you can refer to my previous blog post [ here ] where I go into detail on my favorite products.
That New New
Sephora sent an email with a quiz on which foundation is right for you. One of the few that they suggested for me after the quiz was the Too Faced – Born this Way Foundation. I pretty much stick to Smashbox, but I’m always looking to expand on what products that I’m always sharing products with friends and family. It’s suppose to give me the full coverage that I look for with very little product, giving you that youthful long lasting look.
When Fenty Beauty was first launched, everyone must have been the same shade I was and I never caught the restock online so I just gave up on it. I’m finally getting the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear foundation and the Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. I feel like it’s a must to have for those special occasions.
This summer I plan on wearing my natural hair more, to let my scalp breath and also take a break from using heat on my leave out. I’m always down to try new products that will help me maintain and assist in the growing process. Since I have dry scalp it was recommended that I try Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask and the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Shampoo to help restore moisture and the natural luster of my hair.
Even if you aren’t a VIB Rouge member you still can go in a purchase these products and let me know what you think of my oldies but goodies and also if you’ve tried any of the new new – give me your thoughts on it all.
