Everyday is a new learning experience for us all. I especially like to reflect on my birthday..which is TODAY! I still can’t believe that I am 32 years old – where has time gone?!? In the past year I’ve learned a couple lessons (some the hard way), that are helping me become a better version of myself.
Continue reading to find out the 3 Lessons I’ve learned the past year.
Worrying gets you no where. PERIOD
I’m the queen of worrying – thinking of the what ifs, trying to plan everything out so nothing goes wrong. Getting frustrated when things don’t go right. When I start worrying about anything, I try to shift my focus. Life is to short so let it go.
Criticized No Matter What
No matter what you do in life, people will talk about you or criticize you. Listening to the negative will have you ready to jump off the nearest bridge. You have to do what you feel is best for YOU! People are so quick to judge they, don’t give people the opportunity to be themselves or show themselves. If you take a step back you may see that you have a lot in common with that person.
YOU CANNOT CHANGE PEOPLE.
Lordt – this is something that will continuously be something that I work on. Over the last couple months I’ve realized that it is what is. Trying to give people advice based off my past experience or what you’ve seen happened to others or my all time favorite being loyal and then not being loyal back and they look at you like a dragon with 4 heads – it’s a waste of time and it’s not my battle to fight. IT IS WHAT IT IS.
Obviously these are things that I’m continuously working on daily because I’m not perfect by any means & need daily reminders and to be held accountable! I just hope that year 32 is just as amazing as the two years in my 30’s have been.
