Military green or Olive green has been recently catching my eye. It started with some work pants from New York and Company and then it proceeded into a swing dress from Target and now this green skirt.
Shopping Target’s clearance rack is a labor of love. I’ve learned that if you go first thing in the mornings everything is pretty organized, but later afternoons – good luck. During a random shopping trip – when I wasn’t suppose to be shopping for clothes – I found this gem on the clearance rack for only $9.99. I couldn’t pass it up!
I decided to pair it with this off the shoulder top that I also found on the clearance racks at Target last summer and my favorite heels right now, from Fabrik (also featured in my Spring shoe guide). The options with this skirt is endless, because there are so many colors that you could pair with it.
I always like to visualize the different options I have when I purchase an item. This one I thought of date night, girls night, or even out being cute.
Skirt // Top #1 // Top #2 // Top #3 //Shoes
** since the top that I’m wearing is no long available – here are three other options that would just look equally great with the skirt

Today, I’m highlighting this midi dress that I found a couple months ago at Forever21. With South Carolina weather being all over the place, I want to show you a few different ways you can wear this midi black dress or any black dress. You can never go wrong with a midi black dress or black dress period.
This the most versatile, inexpensive (under $25.00), comfortable, a classic dress I have in my closet. Plus, it’s my favorite color…black!

For some reasons pinks, reds and dark wines have been some of my favorite colors as I’ve gotten older “Fine like wine” is the thought that comes to mine when I talk about these colors.
If you know me then you know that I can be very indecisive when it comes down to clothing. I went back and forth on this dress. I wanted something that was young and playful, but also mature with a little sassy-ness to it + it had to be comfortable.
This dress fit all the criteria – I found it on Forever21 and decided to pair it with some Sam+Libby shoes that I got from Target a few years ago that have been decoration in my room because lace up shoes and I don’t really mix but the day I took these pictures they worked perfect. I’m not a big jewlery person so I just kept it simple with my watch and two bracelets I picked up at Fabrik.
